Saya percaya bahawa semua orang berhak untuk mendapat peluang kedua.
... was the most poignant part of the JPA test.
Right now, I am grateful for the lack of consequences from something incredibly stupid I did.

Wheee Gmail informs me that Adrian Tan Jun Wen has joined FaceBook!
ps. how was your Earth Hour? Mine was disrupted because my father's doctor skills were called into service. We had a candle which wasn't as elegant as I hoped it would be.

Anticipating an argument is so often much worse than the actual event.
Telling me I can't do something is one of the best ways to make me prove you wrong.

hee hee hian chung came into my room today and declared it a war zone. I have a stack of printed papers on my lap, half of which won't end up being used. I shudder to think about the environment. I'm typing this between printing, which takes too long because I tak sampai hati to let the printer print on one side of the page only.
I heart my printer.
(oh, the stack of the day is biology - should dna be used as conclusive evidence in criminal courts?)
college tomorrow. you have no idea how depressing the thought of it is. mostly because I sense trouble. I swear I keep forgetting things. don't believe me? ask syn dee, whose question 'where are you' in the morning frequently receives the reply 'in the library. feeling stupid.' tres horrible.
I HAVE NOT DONE MY COURSEWORK. ultimately, the worst thing about the end of holidays.

I am suddenly amused by
the sight of chee soon tailing after me and jason innocently (and silently) because he thought we were all going to watch the same movie. I assume he, like us, was tired of waiting around aimlessly. We turned around, spotted him, then saw lung wang running after him - literally running - to tell him We are watching Marley and Me. Not Slumdog Millionaire. You're with us. Not them.
Also, wow. How did he find us without a handphone or directions? Either I rely too much on handphones or he has this impeccable sense of direction slash radar in his head because midvalley plus gardens? is a very big area to search for a group of eight people. Oh and did anyone else feel like chee soon in mid valley was a very strange - rare sight?
Gene reported a really funny MSN conversation with chee soon. Hey. Grats. Bye. End of conversation.
So. Slumdog Millionaire was good. I think?
It's 3 in the morning. I am tired.
This is better than chemistry though.

Chem Lab for aLcoholics
Distillation Setup; complete with Liebig condenser
Boiling fermented Sunkist.
Product: Alcohol
I would show you what our ethanol looked like when the orange solution turned vaguely, reluctantly green (Dichromate Test) but Suraj poured it down the sink.
No, we did not test the alcohol by drinking it. It smelled really bad.

I MISS JASON MRAZ
wake up everyone how can you sleep at a time like thisThe Rock Zone tickets.
I swear, the next time I am getting the closest tickets to the stage. Malaysia, contrary to popular belief, has loads of very tall people. They converge at concerts to annoy short people. For example, me.
Purple 'Birthday Girl' button which they pinned on me. Halfway through the concert, in the dark, someone spotted it, wished me happy birthday, and the whole gang started the birthday song. Love the spontaneity!
These two very sporting guys came to Jason Mraz with us. Sylvester declared it 'fantastic'. He didn't have to tiptoe every two seconds to attempt a glimpse of Jason Mraz's head. The guy behind us carried his girlfriend on his shoulders for a while!
The screen I watched when I was tired of peering through LOTS OF HEADS. Just look at Jason Mraz. *fangirls* He is a great great
great performer.
Perfect singing, interjected with quirky statements like 'are you feeling ... elevated?' and 'who's here with your best friend ... because you're crazy in love with them?' and 'here's what I have to say to you - don't let your mind get in the way of having a great time tonight!'
Songs performed: I'M YOURS. Lucky. You and I Both. The Remedy. Beautiful Mess. Make It Mine. If It Kills Me. The Dynamo of Volition. Live High. Butterfly. Curbside Prophet.
For days after the songs still echo.

Guess what?
I'm no longer
going to be eighteen, I actually
am eighteen.
It's a stunning, humbling prospect.
More thoughts later. Have a great day!
