I was sitting in a car just yesterday, marvelling over the ingenuity of 'Happy Niu Year' when my entire family informed me that the phrase was 'all over the television' and the person who sent it was not, indeed, that smart.

Happy Chinese Niu Year, everyone!

I am off for a few days of losing money to little kids who have inordinate amounts of luck. Hopefully there will be more of that biscuit thing I finished last year. There'll be lots of people! I am excited.

I am wearing new (red) clothes! Also I have not washed nor cut my hair. I don't generally sweep. So.. 2009 should be okay, right? Am I missing out on some tradition or another?
