If there is one person I admire in this whole political mess Malaysia is in, it is Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Azizah. I cannot imagine the sufferings she has been through and she has been the epitome of strength and courage in the face of adversity and injustice. She has stood firm as a political leader and a member of parliment, but also as a wife and as a mother. She is has been a doctor, a volunteer worker, a first lady in waiting, an opposition leader. And now, I think, she is the most deserving to savour the victory of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Pakatan Rakyat. Finally, the sweet fruits of success after the sweat, blood and tears. Finally the chance to step backwards and let her husband be the politician.

Datuk Seri Wan Azizah would be person I trust to ensure Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim does not fall by the wayside in his quest for competency, accountability and transparency in our country. I believe she will be his rock as well as his moral compass in a path to a better Malaysia. Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is a better man with her by his side and Malaysia a better country with her striving towards a future free of corruption and injustice, a future where ketuanan rakyat is in the heart and soul of a true Malaysian.
